Best nightclubs in Bangkok right now

A lot of people ask us what the best nightclubs in Bangkok are. So here is a short list of places we find are popular:

Level Nightlife soi 11 Bangkok

Top of the list at the moment is Levels,  located on the 6th floor of the A Loft hotel building on  Sukhumvit Soi 11, this club has been the most popular since the closing of the Bed Supper club.
The club gets very busy on the weekends and is a veritable smorgasbord of Totty (see above), expect to queue if you arrive late.    The cognoscenti say the music has gone off a bit lately so some have shifted to Insanity (see below) but if you are after eye candy this club will not disappoint.

I’ll BE BACK!  could be the catchphrase for Insanity (formerly insomnia) on Sukhumvit soi 12. This club was hot then it was not and now it seems it might be getting hot again bringing in some top DJ’s

Watching sexy girls dance is so much better than making a fool of yourself.

Another club that seems to making a comeback is Mixx.  Located at the President tower, Ploenchit in the basement. This club has the added advantage of being open very late on some nights.  They have a strict door policy so if you look a bit scruffy, weird or ethnic they might not let you in.  Once inside there are two areas one house/techno where smoking is permitted and another more hip hop.  This club is still popular with our Hangover groups (see below)

Mixx still a good crack but do try and stay off the phone…

Looking for something a bit more Great Gatsby? If you don’t like ‘mucking in’ with the hoi polloi you might want to try Ku De Ta on 39, 40 Floors, Sathorn Square Complex.  This is definitely a bit more classy.

Do I know you?  Ku De Ta…who do you know? HI-SO’s galore

A long time favorite with locals is the Q Bar also on Sukhumvit soi 11,  This club has gone through several transformations over the years, hit and miss but still worth a look in. q bar bangkok

Q Bar – scratch and sniff you might get lucky.
